For most home matches tickets applications are only accepted from One United Members and tickets are not placed on general sale. Details of any games which are placed on general sales will be announced in Ticket news. For details of how to become a One United Member please click here.
Once all tickets have been sold, One United members may be able to buy tickets on the official Manchester United Ticket Exchange, Viagogo. Please visit www.manutd.viagogo.com for more information. We also provide Match Day Hospitality for individual games for which you do not need to be a One United member. For availability on Match Day Hospitality please click here.
No, overseas residents can purchase a One United Membership and can apply in the ballot for match tickets as a member. For full details please click here.
Tickets are usually posted out between 3 weeks prior to the game and up to 2 working days prior to the game. Tickets purchased after this time will be held for collection at Ticketing and Membership Services.
Tickets will be posted to the address you have registered with the club. Your address details can be updated online or by calling 0161 868 8000 (option 1 then 4).
Away tickets are only available to Executive Seat holders and Season Ticket holders who have attended all Home Cup matches in the current season.
If you were successful in the ballot you will receive the number of tickets that you applied for. You can only apply for one ticket per membership with a maximum of six memberships per application.
Ticket prices for members can be found here: click here
The ballot works like a lottery, it does not matter when you apply, all applications have an equal chance of being allocated tickets. We have no control over the ballot results.
You can renew your Season Ticket online here: www.manutd.com/strenewals
If you become a One United Member one of the benefits is that you can be added to the Season Ticket waiting list. Members on the list are then contacted should we have any available Season Tickets. Visit www.manutd.com/oneunited for more details on One United Membership.
We only consider the relocation of Season Ticket holders based on exceptional medical conditions.

Season Ticket Holders can opt out of purchasing Carling Cup tickets and junior season ticket holders can opt out of purchasing tickets for the European Champions League please see your renewal pack for full details.
Any Season Ticket Holder that opts out of a Carling Cup home match will receive lower priority in any ballot held if we are oversubscribed with applications for any away match, semi-final and/or cup final in any competition.

Season Ticket Holders are entitled to opt-out of purchasing tickets for home matches in the Carling Cup, and have the opportunity to opt-out of Carling Cup home matches for the whole season at the point of purchase/renewal, or on match-by-match basis each time we are drawn at home (usually within 3 days of the draw being made).
If a Season Ticket Holder chooses to opt-out for the whole season, they will be unable to opt back in at a later date, although will still be able to apply for Carling Cup tickets in a ballot with the same status as One United members.
Payment for Cup matches can only be made with a valid credit card. Unfortunately we are unble to accept debit cards for cup scheme payments.
We will contact you (using information which we hold on record) to inform you that payment has been declined. If tickets remain available, you may still be able to purchase a ticket for the relevant home cup match.

We do not hold open trials. Our scouting operation works so that before any boy comes to our club, he will have been initially assessed by one of our scouts. Premier League regulations severely restrict the number of boys whom we can coach at each age group. Consequently it is not easy to obtain a place in our Academy. We have a network of scouts throughout the country who continually monitor young players. We hope that young players who aspire to become professional footballers will generally be involved with their Town or District team and/or a good Sunday team. It is by watching such games that our scouts become aware of the boys of outstanding potential. We receive regular reports on boys throughout the country. We shall do everything in our power to attempt to bring boys with high potential to our club for trials and assessment. You can be assured that boys playing at a good level of competitive football will be assessed by one of our regional scouts.
There are no Scholarship application forms. As explained above, before any boy comes to our Club he will have been assessed by one of our scouts. As such, we do not hold open trials. Scholarships are offered to young players based on their ability and potential as assessed by members of staff. We have to make an application for Scholarship places on an annual basis, many months before boys are ready to leave school or college. Most boys have already been signed by our Club on an Academy Registration form.
There is no easy route to becoming a footballer. It is extremely important that you develop skill. The first step is to get involved with a team playing in good quality competition. For schoolboys, this would not only mean being in the school team, but also representing teams in your Town, County, District, and even Country. Good quality junior football is very helpful especially in regions where organised schools football is not available. Playing with other top quality boys can only help develop your potential. If you are aged 15-18, you need to be playing at the highest level of football within your age band and with other good quality players.
There are stringent Rules and Regulations set by the Premier League for trials for boys born outside England. In summary, they are:
- The earliest time a boy can attend an Academy for assessment is at the start of his fifteenth year. We are obliged to include restrictions on suitability – that a boy can only trial if he is recommended by one of our scouts or contacts. If he is deemed suitable for assessment he still cannot register for an Academy unless he resides within 1½ hour of its base – even then the boy must not be moving into the area for that purpose i.e. it can only be for family and not football reasons e.g. maybe the parent(s) moves jobs / positions to enhance his/her career.
- If the boy is an EU/EEA citizen then he can sign as a Scholar aged 16, not before.
- If the boy is not an EU/EEA citizen then the earliest he can sign is aged 18 and even then it is dependent upon eligibility for a Work Permit.
Our scouts attend international youth tournaments around the world. In this way we see players that may be of a suitable standard to join our Academy.
Sorry but we do not hold open trials.
We have an extensive scouting operation which assesses any players that come to our Club.
You can be assured that those playing at a good level of competitive football will be assessed by one of our regional scouts.
